Jen’s cafe is very clean with a comfortable mixture of tables chairs & sofas. I ordered two banh mi and both of them were excellent quality. Super fresh ingredients & very tasty pork. Wait times were only a few minutes. Apparently the best combo is the crispy pork with omelette which I’ll give a try on my return. I also saw an eat in Pho served and it looked incredible. Found this hidden gem in the gabba area from a FB group’s post. Finally had time to try it this Monday, and I absolutely loved it! It was so delicious that I went back twice more for the Banh Mi after my first visit. I ordered the Crispy Pork Banh Mi with Omelette (an extra $2 on top of the $12.90). It took a little while to be ready, but it was totally worth the wait. It smelled amazing and tasted just as good. I loved how the crispy pork was softened by the sauce — not dry or hard like other crispy pork Banh Mi I’ve had (which I believe were also authentic). The fatty part was tender and not greasy at all. The meat was well-cooked but still soft and juicy. Everything in the Banh Mi was perfect, including the salad and the mayo. It might feel a bit heavy towards the end, but the fresh chili really helps balance it out. The chili is hot, so avoid it if you don’t eat spicy food. On my second visit, we ordered a Banh Mi and a bowl of Pho to share. The Pho was also delicious — the broth was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or too salty. The noodle texture was just right for me. I prefer softer noodles that easily slide down my throat. The location is also great — it’s just across the street from Woolloongabba Station, so it’s super convenient for anyone taking public transport. I also really appreciated how clean and tidy the place was. The owner cleaned every table promptly after each customer left. Both the male owner and the older lady were very kind and friendly. They even let me go behind the counter to wash my hands before and after my meal. This isn’t an ad, and I hope I haven’t overhyped it — I just wanted to share this because I truly enjoyed both the food and the overall dining experience. ❤️🙏🏻

DAMN this place makes a mean Banh Mi. Tried their Crispy Pork Belly and it was damn good. The skin was perfectly crispy, the meat was juicy and the bread was not too dry or crunchy. It tied together well with all the salads & sauces too. Easy to drop by and grab a roll.

holy. where do words begin. 100/10. just amazing. i have been on a quest to find the best bahn mi in brisbane. i thought i had found it in a bakery in tarragindi but boy was i wrong. I have genuinely had 3 in the past week and don’t see myself stopping. Jen’s crispy pork bahn mi tops every bahn mi i’ve tried by margins. the pork is to die for. the crackling melts in your mouth. the juices and sauces soften the bread toll perfectly. the pickled carrot is perfect. i order without coriander and they always deliver perfectly. 5 stars is not enough. my only disappointment is that i wish more people knew about this place !!!!!!!!!

This is consistently my favourite crispy pork Banh Mi! It’s always so fresh and delicious, with crispy crackling, no matter the time of the day/night. Service is polite and friendly and quick.
